Problems encountered
The project has 26 smaller systems at different buildings/ areas. These multiple buildings have to be integrated into one larger system due to Zero Export function requirement as per Suruhanjaya Tenaga self-consumption guideline.
The challenge is to have a main system control that can specifically instruct and control individual smaller systems to the Zero Export function requirement.
How do we solve it?
By proposing an additional Master-Slave system control solution.
A master controller will receive input on how much consumption is needed at the premise, and thus control each and every individual system generation to match the required consumption.
Impact/result
The system generation can be controlled regardless of the number of smaller systems to avoid export to grid and also non-compliance to ST self-consumption guideline.
